This report shows the charges, events, the assigned
attorney for a case, and the outcome of the case, if it has been closed.
The report is based on information kept by the District Attorney’s
Office. Please be aware that the official record of a case is only
available from the
Boulder
County courts. If there are any
differences between the information in the Case Summary report and the
official court records, you must use the court information as the
official record of the case.
Juvenile information is not provided because the
legislature has restricted access to those records under the Children's
Code, in light of the sensitive privacy interests involved with
children.

If you only know the name of a defendant, you can
still view a case summary using the last name. After logging into
Public Reports (see link below)
go to the Defendant Name Search report, type in the last name, and you
will see a list of matching names and case numbers.
You can click on the associated case number and view the
Case Summary report for
that case. [Detailed
instructions for viewing Defendant Name Search report.]
This report shows the scheduled criminal case
events for a single day in either the County Court or the District
Court. You can see an unofficial list of cases scheduled for the day you
choose, and you can sort the report by clicking on the small triangles
at the top of each column in the schedule. Once you find the case
you want to view, you can click on the case number to see the
Case
Summary report for that case.
The Daily Case Events report does not include
information about misdemeanor or traffic cases scheduled for arraignment
in the Magistrate division.
Please keep in mind that the Daily Case Events
report is NOT the official court schedule. If you believe that a
case should be on the schedule, but does not appear in the report, you
should contact the
Boulder
County courts to find out how to view the
official court schedule.
